What is Thailand Elite?

The Thailand Elite Visa is a long-term visa given to the Thailand Privilege Card members. It is categorized under Tourist Visa (Privilege Entry Visa “PE”) allowing residency in Thailand along with benefits for a period between 5, 10, or 20 years depending on the chosen package in exchange for a membership fee.

Thailand can be your second home with the Thailand Elite Visa which is valid for 5 to 20 years. With the Thailand Elite Visa, you’ll be granted permission to stay for 1 year at a time. You can extend your stay for the validity of the Visa, either by applying for a 1 year extension at your local Immigration office or by exiting and re-entering the Country. With the Thai Elite Visa, you only have to complete one visa run each year or extend your stay for another year at Immigration offices. It’s an ideal choice for digital nomads and retirees who don’t want to be apart of the existing complicated rules that change regularly. Thai Elite Visa qualifications

Here are some of the qualifications you may need to have before applying for a Thai Elite Visa. In order to avoid some conflicts in the future, you must provide everything that is stated below

1. Foreign passport – Must hold a valid passport that has at least 3 blank pages from an eligible countries.

2. No overstay – Authorized to remain in Thailand in compliance with immigration rules, which implies that the applicant does not have a record of overstay in Thailand for the last 3 years.

3. No age limit – Apart from the Elite Ultimate Privilege (Grand Package) that requires at least 20 years of age, no age limit is required for this program.

4. You must never be imprisoned – Not having been sentenced by a judgment to imprisonment in any country except for an offence committed to negligence.

5. You must not be declared as a person with an unsound mind, incompetence, or quasi-incompetence.
